Delivery and Returns Policy

1. Delivery Policy

All our perfumes are delivered door-to-door within South Africa, provided the delivery address is not in a township or an area outside the delivery zones covered by our courier company, Pudo that is managed by The Courier Guy. During the ordering process, Novus Fragrances will determine if additional courier charges are applicable based on your shipping address. We currently only deliver within South Africa, with delivery times ranging from 2 to 6 working days, depending on your location.

2. Late Delivery

Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act), you are entitled to cancel your purchase within 7 days’ notice if the products you purchased are not delivered within the agreed delivery period as specified in the Novus Fragrances terms and conditions. The products must be returned to Novus Fragrances in their original state. To cancel, contact the Novus Fragrances call centre at 012 030 0358 or email info@novusfragrances.co.za. Novus Fragrances will then process a refund.

3. Stock Shortages

Every effort will be made to ensure that Novus Fragrances can fulfil your entire order once the sale comes into effect. However, if certain products in your order cannot be fulfilled, Novus Fragrances will notify you via email and put the product(s) on a backorder. your Novus Fragrances account. If you prefer a refund instead of waiting for the backorder, please email info@novusfragrances.co.za to request the refund. If If you paid by credit card, the refund will be credited to your credit card. If If you paid via EFT, the refund will be paid into your bank account. If you are not notified beforehand and discover the shortage upon receiving your parcel, please contact Novus Fragrances at 012 030 0358 or email info@novusfragrances.co.za or WhatsApp to 074 637 1076 using the subject line “Incomplete order” along with your order number.

4. Exchanging Non-Defective Products

You can exchange the product(s) you ordered for different product(s) within 30 days of delivery, provided the product(s) are in their original state and packaging. To request an exchange, contact the Novus Fragrances Call Centre at 012 030 0358 or email info@novusfragrances.co.za or WhatsApp to 074 637 1076 with the subject line “Your order number: Request Exchange.” If the requested exchange If the product(s) are out of stock, follow the returns procedure for non-defective products, as detailed in Section 5. Novus Fragrances reserves the right to refuse exchanges if the product(s) are not returned in their original sealed packaging and resalable condition.

5. Returning Non-Defective Products

You are entitled to return any purchase concluded with Novus Fragrances and delivered within South Africa, free of charge within 30 days of delivery. You will, however, have to pay the cost associated with collecting the returned product(s). To obtain a refund, the product(s) must be returned in accordance with the return procedure set out in Section 9. If you are not satisfied with your product(s) and wish to return them for a refund, ensure the product(s) are in their unopened original packaging.

6. Returning Incorrect Products

Novus Fragrances will make all reasonable efforts to ensure product information, availability, purchase price, and associated delivery times and fees are accurately reflected on the website. However, if incorrect product(s) are delivered to you, do not remove the product(s) from their original packaging or use them. Contact the Novus Fragrances Call Centre at 012 030 0358 or email info@novusfragrances.co.za WhatsApp to 074 637 1076 with the subject line “Your order number: Incorrect Item” to notify Novus Fragrances of the error. Novus Fragrances will arrange to collect the incorrect product(s) and deliver the correct product(s) as soon as possible. Do not place another order for the same product to remedy the situation.

7. Returning Defective Products

If, within 30 days of delivery, you find that a product is:

• Faulty;
• Not commercially acceptable;
• Not legal;
• Not reasonably durable (based on the circumstances and product type); or
• Unsuitable for the generally intended purpose (or otherwise expressly indicated by Novus Fragrances at the time of purchase),

You may be asked to provide pictures of the defective product. Novus Fragrances will arrange to collect the defective product(s) for inspection. If found defective, you are entitled to either a full refund or a replacement at Novus Fragrances’ expense. If the product is not found to be defective, you will not be entitled to a replacement or refund and will be liable for the costs incurred in returning the product(s) to Novus Fragrances and re-delivery to you.

A product is NOT defective, and you will NOT be entitled to replacement or refund if:

• The Damage arises from incorrect usage of the product;
• The fault/damage is due to normal wear and tear.
• The item has a reasonable amount of manufacturing or production imperfections but is acceptable in accordance with generally accepted commercial practices.

Certain products may come with a third-party supplier’s guarantee. If so, this will be stated under the product listing on the website. The details of these guarantees are provided in their listings. and no consumer may ask to be covered by a guarantee other than the one shown on the product listing.

8. Exclusions

Unless defective, the following product types may not, under any circumstances, be returned to Novus Fragrances:

• Products that you or any other person has altered or added to where such alteration or addition has not been authorised by Novus Fragrances.

9. Return Procedure

As outlined in Section 8, please do not return any excluded items to Novus Fragrances:

• To return a non-defective product within 30 days of delivery; retain the product’s original packaging and follow these steps:

1. Request a return form from Novus Fragrances at info@novusfragrances.co.za.
2. Fill in and return the form.
3. Specify the reason for the return.
4. Specify if you want to receive credit on your account or a refund.

6. Pack item(s) into protective packaging.
7. Pack the product(s) in bubble wrap to secure them for return.
8. Place the items in the courier bag with a copy of the invoice/delivery note.
9. Seal the package securely.
10. If returning products from multiple orders, packing products belonging to the same order together and include the relevant delivery note.
11. The courier will contact you to arrange collection within 3 to 10 working days. days.
12. Novus Fragrances will pay for the cost of returning the parcel.

Once you have couriered your return package, take a photo of your courier slip (tracking number) and email it, along with your order number, to info@novusfragrances.co.za.

10. Processing of Credits and Refunds

If you paid for the associated order via Credit Card: the refund will be processed to your credit card. If you paid via EFT, your refund will be processed to your bank account. Please follow the steps above carefully to avoid any delay in the refund process. It is important to note that you will not be entitled to any refund if the returned product(s) are not sent back to Novus Fragrances in their original packaging and in resalable condition. Novus Fragrances reserves the right not to refund returned products that are not packed in protective packaging.

Novus Fragrances will not process a refund on defective or incorrect products if you have not followed the procedures set out in Sections 6 and 7 above.

11. Fraud Prevention

In the interest of fraud protection, Novus Fragrances reserves the right to refuse to process any payment for any order and/or to cancel any purchase, partially or completely, with notice given to you. If you have already paid for such cancelled portion of the order, Novus Fragrances will return the funds to you.
